Rutherford County and Murfreesboro City schools were closed last night for today due to snow. We were supposed to get 2-4 inches of snow. Here's a picture out our front door from just a few minutes ago... I don't see any snow. Funny how here the threat of snow closes down the schools, the grocery stores are wiped out of bread and milk, and things go to a standstill.

But, I do get a fun office assistant today...

Wow, no wonder they closed school. That's a lot of snow. How will they ever clear the roads? You are going to be trapped for days!
Seriously, in their defense, I was in Jacksonville, North Carolina when they got 4 inches of snow. I drove the 5 miles into the Air Station and must have passed 5 car accidents on the way. They had no idea what they were doing. Then I passed a few more on the 5 mile ride back. It's really best to keep them from driving in any snow.
I just got the call I have to go get Kaitlynn at 1:50. They are dismissing early for the flurries. McMinn County schools were called off at about 9:30 last night. Still not much snow out there. Athens City Schools always wait to the absolute last minute to close. I hope we get a lot tonight. A 3 day weekend would be nice!
That's funny. We are paralyzed by snow as well for the reasons Joanna mentioned - we have NO idea what we are doing. LOL! Hopefully you will get some snow for Cooper to play in. BTW, your new neighborhood is gorgeous and your office assistant is pretty cute too!
A little bit different than winter in Massachusetts?? ;)
