Meet Wilson
We had some trauma over the weekend. Dorothy died. Unknown to us the fish tank filter stopped working and the poor little fish did not have enough oxygen. Cooper took the news OK and has had only a few questions now and then. Today, Cooper and I went to Petsmart and got a new filter and a new fish that Cooper has named Wilson in honor of one of the trains on Chuggington (new show on Playhouse Disney). Here's hoping Wilson lasts longer than Dorothy....

Glad he took it ok. Hope this fishie makes it. When I was in about 2nd grade, I got a parakeet, but it was evidently a sickly bird and it died after a couple of days. I asked my Dad, "Do parakeets sleep on their backs?" UH OH! Well, the replacement bird lived for several years!
Goldfish, teaching children about death for centuries...
Here's hoping Wilson hangs in for a while.
