Before & After Pictures, Shoes and Nursery!

A couple of before pictures that don't quite do the old green color justice. It was GREEN everywhere- all the ceilings, bathroom walls and ceilings, even the closet and closet ceilings were green. I like green, just not this particular shade, and it did not go with anything else we had in the room.

After- a much more soothing gray/silver/purpley color. I love it. It's much more relaxing.

A little bit better shot of the wall color...

The bathroom is a lighter shade in the same family of colors. Only bad part now is that I would love to change out the tile to a gray marble. That won't happen for a long time if at all though.

Do you love these shoes or what? Actually, I guess I don't want to know if you don't like them because I love them! I am super excited to wear these for Kim's wedding. It will be so much fun! Dresses are the same color blue as what is in the shoes.

And, finally, some nursery pictures. I think we're ready, except for having a NAME picked yet. With Cooper we had it down to two and chose one after he was born. This time there are about 5-7 names on the list.... I still don't know what we're going to pick!

I haven't done any baby girl shopping. Oh, wait, yes I have...

The finished dresser with the bright paint. I love how it turned out. Ben was a little nervous about the bright colors, but now agrees with me that it looks good with the rest of the nursery. And, you can see my birthday gift (that was back in January) from Ben on the changing table -- a Coach diaper bag. He knows what I like.

I cannot get the light right for the picture of the curtains, rocking chair and small side table (same colors as the dresser), but here's the best of what I took...

What a great job. I like the bedroom both before and after. The shoes are really cute and springy. The nursery looks ready. You sound like you have been very busy. I hope now you will get a little time to sit down and put your feet up till the baby comes. Oh wait you have a almost 4 year old little boy. No rest there!!!

You have such great taste and style. I actually agree with Julie in that I kind of liked the green but the gray is beautiful and goes perfectly with your bedroom furniture and comforter. I love it. I also like the shoes. I can't wait to see you in them with the dress. And the dresser for the nursery turned out really cool. I am also eager to hear what you finally decide for names. Such a fun and busy time for you all.

I'm so in love with your bedroom. The wood work around the windows is gorgeous. From the pictures, I liked the old color, but the new color is much better with your bedding. Very calm and relaxing.

The shoes are adorable!

Love the nursery too. The chest of drawers works great. I think it works so well because the rest of the room isn't the same colors.
