Cooper had a week off from daycare last week while my mom was visiting. This morning I had his bag all packed with all the supplies I needed to bring in for him this week- extra because we're potty training (more on that later) - and let me tell you I was PREPARED. Three spare outfits including socks for each outfit, a pack of pull ups in case big boy undies proved to be too much at daycare, all appropriately labled with his name or initials. So, I pull into the parking lot and start to take off Cooper's seatbelt. The kindergarten teacher, Miss Nina, walks up and says:
"We're closed today for Columbus Day. It's teacher inservice day."
Prepared. But not for that statement. And it's only Monday.

LMBO! that's hilarious! At least someone was kind enough to come out and tell you, vs toting everything inside :-)
YIKES!
Seriously, that is pretty funny, although at that moment I am sure you did not think so. Good luck with the PT and I love the new pic of Cooper on your header.
Our school was closed Monday too. How annoying. This same thing happened to us last year for Good Friday. Bill pulled up to the school and it was closed. He hadn't been paying attention to all of the "We'll be closed" signs. He eneded up taking Reagan to work with him and had her sit through staff meetings and all.
