Cider Hill Farms

Saturday we went to Cider Hill Farm for an outing organized by Cooper's daycare. It was a great outing because all the kids could go in their own direction yet still had familiar faces to see. Cooper seemed a little concerned that his teachers were there thinking that he was getting dropped off with them, but seemed excited to see his classmates.

We took a hayride, picked apples, Cooper fed the chickens, and rode on a tire swing made to look like a horse. There was a little drama for Cooper when it was time to take the hayride... just all part of being 2 I guess after reading about Laura's similar experience with one of her sons-- you can read about it here if you like. Cooper helped pick pumpkins that I used to decorate out front for the fall. My mom is here to visit so she got to go along too. We had apple cider donuts too and Cooper even had a bite of one. It's almost his first donut, the very first one was a Dunkin Donuts mini at playgroup one day a few weeks ago.

I had a cute scrapblog put together with pictures, but for some reason I cannot get it to update. So, instead here are the pages minus the last one which was of Cooper feeding the chickens.
