Saturday's Cookout

We continue to power through a rather sleepless week here. Last night was my night (thankfully Ben and I alternate nights on who is 'on duty') Cooper was awake at 2 and again at 4. At 4 he again had to potty/poo (yay for potty training, but seriously? 4 am?) At that point he was up until 5:15 and then he slept again until 7:15.   This boy needs some sleep and so do we.

So, I'm late in getting this up, but last Saturday Ben's work had a family festival. They had a huge bounce house and a few other fun things for kids and a cookout. Cooper loved the bounce house until a lot of bigger kids got in, then it became overwhelming for him and I had to go in the bounce house myself to get him.  Did I mention that the opening is (small) child sized? I'm sure it was fun for all of Ben's coworkers and their families watch me try to wriggle into the bouncy house and then back out with Cooper too.  There were lots of tears on Cooper's part over having to get out of the bouncy house even though it was too much for him in there. Typical toddler "I want it/I don't want it" massive meltdown thing.  I only got two pictures of the whole outing, both of Cooper playing frisbee.  We all had fun and it was nice to spend another day outside since those days will probably be gone soon this season.
