I Am A Genius

I bet that got your attention, right? Clearly I'm not, but for now I'm giving myself a gold star on the clock project. The clock thing has been working really, really well for Cooper. He's staying in bed in the mornings and getting much needed rest. Today he woke up at 6:30 and was in a great mood. All weekend he was in a better mood. The clock is even working for naptime. He wants to nap for 1 hour, so I'll tell him when it is an hour from when he lays down and if he wakes up any time after that he can get up. Magically he's in bed without jumping up and out all the time and is better rested all around. Why didn't I think of this before?

In other news this week is packed- Parent/teacher conferences tonight, pumpkin patch field trip tomorrow- hopefully I remember my camera. I volunteered to drive along with some other preschool parents- should be fun (and loud) with a class full of preschoolers! Work travel the rest of the week and a getaway with Ben and Cooper to Atlanta coming up- can't wait!
