Cooper's first t-ball practice was tonight. He had so much fun! He has been asking every day since he signed up a couple weeks ago whether t-ball started that day, and today was it. After preschool it was an early dinner, then off to the baseball fields for practice. We met Ben there because the field is close to his office.
There are about 4 very patient coaches that work with the kids on the team. They helped them run the bases and learn what they are, get in their 'ready' stance, catch and throw all in about an hour. For the first 15 minutes or so Cooper kept yelling back at us "Hi Mommy and Daddy" and waving to make sure we were paying attention, but after a while he was absorbed in what he was doing and too busy to keep yelling back at us. He loved running the bases and ran an extra lap around the bases at the end of practice. The head coach complimented him on his 'game face', so I tried to get him to re-create that face at home for the camera.
Excited before practice started

Super super cute. First year of t-ball is SO much fun. I hope you guys enjoy watching it as much as Cooper enjoys playing it.
LOL. Love the game face.
So cute, I am so jealous...B can't play T-ball for 2 more years! Next year he misses the darn cut off by 14 days!!
Way to go Cooper!! Maybe you can do your game face for us at dinner tonight!
