My parents are coming to visit during a winter month with snow and everything! All the way from Texas in the warm, near 80 degree temperatures they are arriving tonight where we will be lucky to have temperatures in the teens to low 20's..... But, then again, it's not every week their youngest daughter turns 30! I have yet to stock the wine rack (one of the most important duties prior to their visit), but that's about all I have left to do before they arrive tonight.
I think I should edit this to add- my parents enjoy visiting here and we like it too, they just don't like the cold, so it's a big feat for them to be here in the winter. Also, they are the wine connoisseurs, so it's not that we have to drink the wine to get through their visit, it just makes it more fun!
