Looking Back

Cooper was born on Cinco de Mayo in 2006. Since my family lives in San Antonio, it was fitting that my sister brought him a sombrero, maracas, and a pinata on her first visit to meet Cooper. Below are a few pictures from when he was about 10 days old with all his celebratory gear:

Party!
What is all this stuff?
Let's Dance!
I thought it would be fun to dust off the sombrero and take Cooper's picture wearing his hat today. Convincing him to have his picture taken wearing his sombrero was not the easy task it once was. Here's the best of what I got with the camera tonight....
You want me to wear what?

Take my picture fast, I have more important things to do!

How quickly times change (and hats are outgrown)!

The one with him "dancing" is both hilarious and cute!

We parents are evil, aren't we? I love the pictures!

We picked out the smallest sombrero we could find at the time! Looks like he really outgrew it! We can fix that problem and bring the super grande sombrero with us on our upcoming trip! Ole! We really laughed at these pictures, especially the one where he was throwing a fit. Wouldn't you too if you had half the items from a cheap Mexican store crowding your personal space?
