The kids have been sick over here. Last Wednesday when I got to preschool to pick Cooper up he was sitting in the office because he had started to run a fever. He had a cough and a little congestion along with it and a day of rest at home on Thursday helped him. He was back to his usual self pretty quick and felt good enough to go to preschool again on Friday. Saturday rolls around and Abby woke up with a fever and coughing. She took this germ a little harder than Cooper did, and kept the fever until Sunday evening. The congestion has stayed on and in the last couple of days she has started to decrease her eating and get more and more fussy. Yesterday afternoon she basically cried the whole time until she went to bed. I had tried to get her in at that time to see the pediatrician, but no such luck. So, today we made a visit first thing in the morning to the pediatrician and she has a double ear infection. How this girl has still slept through the night throughout all this is amazing to me. Back in Cooper's infant days he would have been up all night in the same situation. We are starting the normal antibiotics course and I hope that there is enough time between now and when we leave for our rescheduled visit to my family that her ears don't bother her on the airplane.
Abby's track record is looking quite a bit better than Cooper's did at this point... already by almost 10 months he had had multiple ear infections, a couple of nasty viruses, and viral pneumonia and bronchiolitis that landed him in the hospital for a week. Did I mention he was sick all the time as an infant? So, one ear infection in 10 months--- I will take it!
Sorry no pictures grandparents... haven't had the camera out lately. I will get some soon though!

Ick, hope y'all are back to 100% soon! Sophia has had a lot more health issues than Elijah, but mostly because of her hips.
Sorry to hear that the kids were sick. Michael was the same way as Cooper but Katie has only been sick a handful of times. Maybe girls are tougher than boys!
