Fun Meet Up!

If you have read Karen's blog post on our meet up this may be pretty much a duplicate of her post! My first May 06 mom meet up! I had so much fun meeting Karen. For work, I telecommute most of the time, but have some travel thrown in- usually 4-6 weeks out of the year to spend in my territory visiting my clients. This week I have been in NC/SC for the last time before maternity leave starts in May. I knew I would be staying in Columbia one night, so Karen and I decided to meet up for dinner. I have to admit I was a little nervous since it was the first time to meet a May o6 and blogging friend in person, but it was so awesome! Karen is such a nice person and happy, genuine and funny. We had a great dinner at one of my favorite restaurants in Columbia and talked and talked and talked! We have lots in common with our May 06 boys, and our professional backgrounds in insurance. And, we just had SO MUCH FUN talking! Have you ever met someone and you feel like you have known them your whole life? It felt like catching up with an old friend rather than meeting a new one. Karen had some great things to share about adding a second child and a girl to the mix and it was reassuring to know that 3.75 has some similar challenges for Cooper and Michael and us as moms. We talked so long I think we may have been the last people to leave the restaurant! I am really excited for the next opportunity to meet up!
