Dance Party in the 01950

Last night was one of the most fun nights we've had in a long time. Cooper wanted to have a dance party after dinner. Cooper was singing "Get This Party Started" and ready to dance. On went Cooper Kidz Bop* CD, and we set up a "stage" (a blanket on the floor) and an audience (stuffed animals on their own blanket) and Cooper was on his way. He was doing all sorts of funny dance moves, and threw in the Triple Whip, Funkadilly, and Run Around (from the Surf's Up episode of Backyardigans) for good measure. We joined in, and danced in the family room for the whole CD. So much fun, and once Cooper was in bed I was sad because I know these days won't be forever. Even with all the 3 year old drama, the fun parts are so fun I wonder how long this lasts. I want to hold on to those moments and not forget the sweet times. Also, on Saturday night before bed time Cooper was being silly before bath time. Here's a picture -- I'm sure he'll thank me later for posting it. I should probably add to his therapy fund for this.

Self-teaching himself the art of wearing a toga?

Bailey jumped in at the last minute too, looking svelte without all her excess hair. Thank you furminator!

That is so cute that he wanted to have a dance party and yes that definitely looks like a toga. I am glad the furminator worked so well for you guys. We use it on our dogs but I can never seem to get "all" my rotty's excess fur. When you mentioned the sea of light fur in your yard I had to laugh because ours is black fur on light sand. Totally opposite.

That sounds like so much fun. I've been thinking the same thing lately. 3-year-olds are crazy...but most of the time, it's in a good way.

Love the toga. He hasn't been watching Animal House has he?
