You Know Your Child is from New England When...

Randomly in the bathtub last night Cooper turned to me and said "Wicked stupid*."

Clearly he's grown comfortable living here in Massachusetts.

*It was all I could do to keep from laughing out loud when he said this while he was in the tub. I have been laughing about it ever since and had to leave a message for Ben (who was mid-flight to Atlanta) so he could hear all about it too. It was totally out of context, and since neither Ben or I use 'wicked' in the New England style way I can only assume he heard it from his friends at daycare?

I seriously crack up when N&A say "yes MA'AM" to me. That is such a southern thing!

We, too have 'wicked' as a regular vocab word at our house. Cute.

I've never heard that before, maybe I should get used to it, 'eh? I'm a little worried about my child's flagrant use of the word "y'all" once we move up there.
