Things That Make You Go Hmmm...
Why is it on the week I have no time to blog I get the most interesting stories to share? This week we have had some Flat Stanley adventures I need to share, and today I was approached by Jehovah's Witnesses while trying to help a lost/stray dog in our neighborhood find it's owner while simultaneously trying to fend of Animal Control. One of the strangest experiences ever. I'm happy and proud to be an Episcopalian, so thanks but no thanks on the offer ladies, particularly while I was very preoccupied with a hyper dog. Also, tonight was parent/teacher conferences at daycare. Nothing but good news there, although I did talk with Cooper's teacher about his recent aquistion of a few words I do not want him saying. Apparently all the little boys in his class think it is hilarious and break out the 'chicken butt' phase at lunch time. New strategies are being planned to make sure Cooper does not continue his use of this phrase- any suggestions are welcome! But, for now, it's way past my bedtime, so I don't even know if this post makes sense and I'm too tired to do much about that.

Neighbor poured and entire jar of jalapenos in her son's mouth for saying "Suck my d*$k" when he was 3 or 4. He never said another foul word again . . . not sure you want to be quite that extreme though. Chicken butt isn't nearly THAT bad. :-) Glad you are back from your trip, but sorry you are so busy!
No help on the bad words. Sorry about the Jehovah's witnesses. Yes, I could use a spa day...very badly.
Yay for Episcopalians! LOL I just had to say that. We're a rarity down here in the south.
WOW lots of adventures for you! I think you handled it perfectly! Way to go.

Unfortunatley, ¨chicken butt¨gets a lot worse as they age! Watch out for that! I cannot believe what has come out of the sweet little mouths of my kindergarteners!
