The first year Cooper was mesmerized by Santa

Last year, he was not a fan (can you see the terrified look in his eyes?)

This year Cooper visited Santa over Thanksgiving break while we were visiting Grandma and Papa O. Cooper did better than last year, and we got a few small smiles from him. He talked about it for a while afterward that he got to see Santa, so overall this year was a success.

Now that he gets the Santa concept a little bit I asked him what he told Santa he wanted for Christmas. He said, "Loops, a hippopotamus, and a mountain."
I have to give Cooper major creativity points, but he sure made it challenging to fulfill his Christmas requets.... so far he received the Diego Dinosaur Rescue Mountain from Aunt Kimi, and Santa is putting a stuffed hippopotamus in his stocking. As for the loops, that may have to wait until his birthday!
In tumor news, things are looking up for me today... I am not waiting around for the endorcrinologist in town. I am signed up with Mass General Hospital/Harvard Medical School and their Neuroendocrine Clinical Center. There is an endocrinologist who specializes in prolactinomas as well as an entire department of other endocrinologists and neurosurgerons who review every case together. As long as my vision exam goes well Friday I will go in to see this group in early February. If I have vision problems before that time they will get me in earlier. Thanks to everyone for your support and kind words, I really appreciate it.
