Un-Wordless Wednesday

I have been taking an unintended blog hiatus- life has been hectic! We have had lots of changes around here... Mainly, I am no longer working a paid job and have morphed into a stay at home home mom. I have to say, this is the hardest job ever, but I love it. I never realized how busy I would be without a full time paying job, but every minute is full, but in a good way.

We have traveled a bit in the last month- first Ben and I took a solo trip to Boston for my 3 month post- delivery MRI and to have some time to ourselves. My parents watched the kids and had one extra with Natalie visiting with them. They had their hands full! The MRI was OK- results showed that the tumor had some growth, but likely due to the pregnancy and not taking the medicine during that time. So, it's back to the medicine, and another MRI in a year. Fairly routine, and the growth was not 'clinically significant' according to my doctor.

Our next trip was over Labor Day weekend to attend and participate in Kimi's wedding! We had so much fun! If we are friends on Facebook there is a photo album posted there, but you can also look at the pic up top- all 4 of us the day of the wedding. Cooper was so well behaved and such a great ring bearer. Abby was overloaded with new faces and while everyone was very sweet to try and help out with her, it all became too much at the reception so I took her home early to put her to bed.

We are wrapping up fall t-ball this week- two games to go! Cooper has had fun, although this season has been much more of a challenge since the ages are 4, 5, and 6 combined rather than just age 4. He is also back in preschool which is going well after a few initial bumps in his transition from summer break to school time.

Abby had her 4 month appointment last week. How has it been 4 months already?? She is 16 lbs 5 oz and 26 5/8 inches which equals about 80th percentile for weight and 75th for height. She is a chunky monkey and so cute and happy. She is a real joy to be around all the time. She is sleeping well and generally only up once at night, has a happy disposition and coos and gurgles all the time. She rolled over once while we were in Iowa for the wedding, but it must have been a fluke because it hasn't happened since that time. I feel like I want to stop time and just keep her little for a while, but she keeps growing and changing every day!

I think I have hit all the major events of the last month or so.... hopefully I can keep up with things better as the fall season begins!
