Mother's Day

I had a great Mother's Day yesterday! Cooper and Ben took me out for breakfast before church, we picked some flowers to plant in our planters, and some new gardenia and azalea bushes for the backyard. I also took a 2 hour nap while Cooper napped- it was nice! Cooper was pretty grumpy after his nap, but overall was pretty good for most of the day and very thoughtful- he told me at least five times "Happy Mother's Day" and made some cute flowers at Sunday School out of cut outs of his hands and some pipe cleaners. He had also colored a picture of a bumble bee at preschool that he gave to me too.

Cooper got to pick his own plant (marigolds) and planter. Can you tell he is excited after planting his flower? He is very concerned about making sure it's getting enough sun and moved it a few times in the afternoon to make sure it was still sunshine.

Happy Mother's Day to our moms and all moms! Hope yours was special!

I love that he got to pick out his own flower and plant it. What a GREAT idea! I think that will be in the plans for next year for Jeryn. Glad you got a nice nap in, you need and deserve that girl!! Hugs to you!
